How iTero Digital Scanning Works

The iTero handheld wand captures a digital 3D image of your teeth in minutes. This procedure is completely non-invasive and allows you to breathe and swallow normally. You can even move or adjust during the process without losing accuracy. Best of all, you can view your 3D smile on the screen in real time as Dr. Griffin moves the wand.

Instead of shipping physical molds to a lab, your digital image is sent electronically. This means your data is available in the Invisalign Clincheck system the very next day. We can even use the Invisalign Outcome Simulator to show you a preview of what your new smile might look like before you even start treatment.
